So who was Mick Harford watching for Luton today at the Under 23s game ?
Anyone any ideas ?

We're fucked if Johnson is injured
Fredricks is suspended for the next game
That leaves us with Zabaletta agaisnt Zaha.
We're fucking doomed

I’d rather Coventry was given the bench space that Sanchez has as am sure he can’t be worse in the role of coming on and trying to close a game out.

Your lawnmower is better than Roberto.

Re: U23's
Holland and Johnson ran the recent Under 23s game verses Brighton who are in the higher division.
Today’s game v Newcastle was a continuation of the attacking style they showed verses Fulham.
It was a Shame that Johnson went off today but 4-0 was a good result and Johnson has threes to recover before the next League game.
The Under 23s have pace all across the pitch, Dan Kemp looks a handful and Coventry sprays the ball around to both wings really well.

Re: U23's
Marcus Browne was sent off for Middlesbrough on Saturday fir a shocking tackle. We made the right decision in selling him because he hasn't really impressed in the lower divisions.
Diangana looks like a possible star in the making. I hope he recovers from his recent injury as he might just be the only one to make it for us in the PL.
Young Trott looked all at sea with the goal he conceded against Doncaster on Saturday. I thought he had been roughed up by one of their forwards in the six yard box but neither he nor his defenders appealed to the ref for any infringement.
He's probably better than Roberto though!

Re: U23's
To be fair he has come on at 0-2 v Wolves & 1-3 v Arsenal when the vast majority of our other players appear to have given up.
He had a couple of chances late v Arsenal when he cut inside and if it was an u23 game he probably would have shot but he didn’t.

Re: U23's
Holland has been a little underwhelming on the two occassions I saw him in the first team. He seemed timid. I'm sure that will improve as his confidence grows though.

At least 3 or 4 would be better choices than the bench against Southampton.

Holland must be a better bet than Yarmalenko at the moment.

Re: U23's
Holland needs a run in the 1st Team. He is good enough in my mind! Fuck me we call on Sanchez most games. The way he's been playing I could do with dusting my boots off!

Johnson does seem to have an injury problem this season, was out for a while with something else i believe and this is his 2nd setback since coming back

2-0 Holland.

Sounds like Johnson's hamstring was giving him trouble. Hopefully nothing serious.

Re: U23's
Shame about Johnson.

is he quite injury prone or is this a one off?

MP seemed to rate him. Was hoping for it to be his breakthrough season.
